I have not seen these apartments up close, but so far they have been very kind and helpful over the phone, I would really like some current reviews from people living here, good or bad, I just want to know before we make a decision. Thanks!

As far as I know, this place is 100% Section 8. I rolled up one day and, as a single, they told me not to even bother if I made over 13,000 a year.

Thats strange for them to say that, so did you not bother? Is EVERYONE there Section 8, do you know?

Also, to the person who wrote the original post...did you end up renting from them or did you find out anything else?

I am really interested in these apartments. It seems as if most of the other apartments around this area are either over priced or trashy.

Thanks...

I just moved from the complex on 5/31/07 after a year of misery. It had gotten so bad that the last three months of my lease I did not stay at my apartment. The management was less than helpful but quick to place notes on all doors warning of evictions. I had three seperate incidents where money was an issue with them. First, after living there 3 months I got a note on my door claiming I never paid the required pet fee of $350.00. I explained that I paid the fee of $300.00 the day the lease was signed at it was never $350.00...it was $300.00 per my lease. Also, I had paid with a money order. I took a copy of my lease along with money order receipts and they still gave me a hassle but finally backed down. On my fourth month, they stated I did not pay my rent. Never once was I late on my rent. I dropped my rent in an envelope in the night/mail drop slot. They charged me a 10% late fee(70.00) stating they never recieved the check. I had to call my bank and put a stop payment on the check..for a 35.00 dollar fee. I wrote another check for 770.00 for rent and late fee. Two weeks passed and I got a call telling me they found the check in their outgoing mail. They offered to put the 70.00 late fee towards next months rent but would not pay the bank fee for stopping payment. Last, the carpets are very low grade quality. The doors weather strip wore and tore the carpet at door. I had called several times to complain...finally they came and fixed the door and carpet. HOWEVER, just today I received a letter stating I owe them $200.00 dollars for carpet repair. Luckly, I took at least 50 pictures upon move out. That is just office issues. The "other" tenants are not respectful of their property or yours. I could not open my windows at night because my neighbors loved to smoke pot. I complained and was told there was nothing that could be done. It was inside their apt. As you can read I am a very dissatisfed tenant. If you or anyone else can afford something else...I urge you to do so. The previous remarks from others are true. I witnessed most of them first hand. You are not allowed outside after 8pm unless walking to/from your car or you are fined $50.00 on first offense, 100.00 second and evicted on third offense. At least 3 cars a night get booted and made to pay 99.00 to remove boot. OH AND LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT the sewage problem. Their sewage pump breaks at least once every other month. At one point it was nauseating to walk out side. RAW SEWAGE bubbled up from the sewer for 2 weeks. I called the health department and complained..the very next day we all received notes stating it was the tenants fault for things being flushed....instead of an appolgy for living with the bubbly sewage for over 2 weeks...... GOOD LUCK TO ANYONE THAT VENTURES TO MOVE HERE former tenant 1727
