Okay when we moved into Oakwell farms it seemed great, this was our first apartment. Well if they do this thing where if you have good credit they waive the deposit, don't do it Either pay it or leave. Or they will get you at the end. Also I noticed while we were there a lot of apartments flooded and when people moved out they got people right in even though that unit would need gutted. Mold was bad. We discovered a few days before we moved out that there was black mold coming out of the air vents (also black mold in the tub which you would scrub and scrub but it kept coming back) which we now know why we couldn't breathe for the last year. Also we found out that that contributed to our dogs respiratory issues. Also our bathtub when you got out of the bath or shower there was water all over the bathroom we had to by a new bath mat ever week.

Also I wouldn't bother having a pet there. Basically all the pet deposit does is allow you to have the dog live there, it doesn't cover any damages the pet may do. And the pet rent is outrageous. What you will pay for one pet at oakwell you would pay for two other places.

We stayed for our whole lease but were tempted time and again to leave. It doesn't matter if you are a good tenent or not, they seem to be all about making money and cutting corners in my opinion. I'm not saying that is the way it is that is just my opinion.

And one more thing we didn't feel safe there we wouldn't go outside after 10 pm. And it seems they are just letting anybody live there these days. Also the hot tub isn't that great, it tends to be on the cool side.

I would not recommend Oakwell Farms. Yes there are a lot of worse places but there are a lot of better places for just a little more money or the same.

If you do live there don't go anymore than a 6 month lease by 3 months into it you will want to leave.

I completely agree, since I have been here I have had a major issue with mold. I have to spray it daily to prevent the mold from spreading. The caulking in the tubs is caked so thick its cracking, the quik fix repairs show throughout the apartment. The pest control is a joke. I have asked for pest control and got some traps and a little spraying. The traps are full with spiders within a day, telling me the doors arent sealed properly and there isnt any exterior prevention in place. Look some where else!! dont waste your money.
