I have lived at Spinnaker Cove for about 9 months. I have enjoyed spending my weekends at the pool. Coming from another state, I was able to meet other renters at the pool who became friends so I don't feel all alone here. When I moved in, the office staff was very courteous and bent over backwards to make me feel welcome...even stayed late to give me my keys because I couldn't make it on time. I love my apartment. I have had very minimal maintenance issues and the ones that I have had were taken care of quickly. I like Spinnaker Cove and would recommend it as a nice place to live. I actually have 2 friends moving in next month and I get a $100 referral fee for each of them!

Ha! They did not replace the plumbing in order to do something about leaks and help their renters! As per staff, Equity Residential does not like to own apartment complexes that are more than 15 years old due to the maintenance costs & since management has nicknamed the property "The Money Pit", they have decided to sell the property. The problem is that they can't sell the property unless they bring it up to codes! They don't want their residents knowing that information. Why? What happens to your equity account when Equity sells the property to someone else?
People complained about the plumbing replacement because they were given a flyer that stated the replacement including drywall repair & paint would take 4 days & the contractor would clean up the mess but that is not what happened. It took them 3-4 weeks for some apartments & during that time the resident could not return their personal items to their closets or under their sinks and had to live with their clothing, cleaning supplies, & toiletries in boxes & piled everywhere for almost a month. The contractor also broke or destroyed personal items & even drank one resident's beer out of the refrigerator.
