IT'S AN APT THAT I'D RECOMMEND

I have a 1 bdr 1 bath 875 square feet high ceilings, fireplace & on the 2nd floor no one above me & the parking is great, I really do like the layout of my apt. The area is nice & quiet. I will state the good 1st: the management company has changed 3 times since I've been there keeping some of the same people & the office staff has always been friendly & helpful to me since day 1, the maintenance is also friendly & fast. I cannot hear my neigbors when I'm inside the apt but if there in the breezeway & loud etc I can hear them. The negative that I'd say about the apts is the kids in the complex despite the management sending letters regarding kids in street & to watch your kids etc the parents still let the kids run wild w/o supervision, the kid thing isn't the mangement's fault but parents need to be held more responsible for their kids actions. 1 time kids was playing right near my car & may have bumped it a few times no damage but it's the principle they shouldn't be playing by the cars or in streets they skate board in the street all the time. Other downsides is in the summer time theres bugs spiders etc they do spray but it's not a good spray & the only way to get a good spray is if your there when they come to spray so you mind as well spray yourself, but we live close to the lake so the bugs are a given. Also a few times the trash compactor was full for some days & not service in the middle of summer which aint good b/c it stinks. I haven't had any problems w/crime or seen any crime. I think on my side of the complex is a little more quiet then the other side. I stay in bldg 13 which is not part of the main ground level complex. the pools are ok. Another downside is when I 1st moved in my rent was $589 water & after my 1st year it went up to $609 water. I let the office know that was a high price increase & not worth it for a 1 bdr but I stayed b/c I didn't feel like moving. If my rent goes up again & I know it will I'll have no choice but to leave. If it stays the same I wouldn't mind staying. Over all it's an apt complex not a individual home so keep that in mind, I would recommend it.
