*We had TONS of roaches, but our neighbors in the next building over had even more than us.

*The apartment was full of second hand smoke from the lady downstairs. Management didn't care. We had a baby who was exposed to that crap. We're lucky she didn't die from SIDS.

*As others have said, children run wild in the streets. One time they put chemical fertilizer out and little kids were playing in it.

*Several people had decretive outdoor stuff stolen.

*Two times I saw police raids.

*There are tons of kids, but no playground.

*Our carpets reaked of cat pee. When we moved in there was a plug in air freshenor to cover the smell.

*The walls are tectured. Besides being ugly,they were hard to clean.

*A good sized portion is section 8 housing.

*Our balcony was huge. This was the major amenity. But it had tons of nails sticking out randomly. Last time I drove past I noticed they had redone these anyway.

*They never warned us when the laundry room would close. I would drag my baby and laundry across the parking lot and down the stairs and then have to drag it back.

*I'm pretty sure that the people who lived downstairs from our friends were selling drugs.

*There was always tons of drinking and smoking at the pool.

*Very little shade trees. Our apartment faced the sun and it cost a fortune to cool in the summer.

*The kitchen was like a little dugeon. We'd have to cook in our underware it would get so hot.
