I really enjoyed living here and wanted to move to a different floor plan when my lease was up but the didn't have what I needed available. I even tried to sell it to some co-workers that were relocating to the area. Well after my lease was finished and I had moved I received the Move Out Reconciliation Report. There were some things that I didn't understand. Like how your water and sewage don't catch up/get the final reading to you move out and go back two months even though it on the statement with your rent each month but I went along. Now I will be the first to admit that in doing my Move In Check List checking the balcony never crossed my mind. I checked the carpet, cabinets, faucets, windows, and etc but not the balcony (I know much better now). After I moved in and eventually I wandered out to the balcony to discover a hole burned into the floor and some damage to the siding. Things that I did not do but am being charged for. I called to talk to Regina, the office manager, and she continues to tell me that she will look into and call me back. She has yet to call me but has sent the bill to collections. I asked her to check with my downstairs neighbor (don't know if she did or not). I think the people that stayed in the apartment before me did it and I bet that's why the green wrought iron and wood bench was still sitting there after they vacated the apartment. While I was an occupant of the apartments I witnessed what I consider to be the most HORRIFIC scene I have ever watched - an apartment fire!!! It destroyed the whole building, the had to spray down adjacent buildings (including the office), pets died, a fireman caught fire, a bike melted away, and then the tear down of the frame. I just couldn't handle putting others lives in jeopardy. Just a warning check everything thoroughly.
