My wife and I had a very pleasant stay at the Arbours. We only lived there for two months while looking for a house, but overall I'm pleased with the property and the professionalism of the staff. Especially Courtney.
We moved into the new building next to the office, it's about one year old, which I'm told replaced one that burnt down. The apartment is spacious since it was made to be handicapped accessible. I wish that all apartments could be built to ADA spec.; it's a real treat.
The appliances were new and modern, though I think the dishwasher is kind of small.
We loved the wood blinds and large covered patio deck. The track lighting in the dining area is nice. Unfortunately, we don't have track lighting in our house, so I hope the current tenant enjoys the pricey spotlight bulbs I left for her.
The only complaints I have are with the mandatory trash valet and the intermittent broadband cable. I would walk to the dumpster rather than pay to have it picked up at my door. And as for Comcast, don't even bother trying to be nice to them. If you have any problems with your internet, call Jason Arkenberg, give him a timeline to get the problem fixed or you will take your business to AT&T. Threat of lost business is the only thing that motivates a Comcast rep.
I would, and have, recommend the Arbours to anyone looking for an apartment in Hermitage. If possible, try to get in one of the newer units. I'm not going to dispute grievances of the other reviewers, but my experience is the polar opposite of theirs. Hopefully, this will be my last apartment review, since we just purchased our home in White House. I'm glad my last experience as a renter is a good one.
