I have lived here since July/August 2008, and havent had a problem. The landlord was very nice when we moved in. We were in a tight situation where another apartment complex had ripped us off and Tulip Grove was very understanding and helpful. We moved to TN from Virginia and had put a deposit down on an apartment and once we got here, the place was god awful and they would not refund us our money. Kim and her staff went out of their way to help us out and get us into one of their apartments with no problems. I have had a few maintenance issues, which is to be expected because they are older apartments, but for the most part they have responded very quickly and efficiently. They are always very nice in the office, and try to do things like have pizza parties on Labor Day for the tennants. They have always worked with us when money has been tight and even let us pay our rent late on occasion! They try to work with you as best they can as long as you are HONEST with them about your situation. They even offer monthly contests to win $100.00 off your next month's rent, and I really dont see why people are complaining. Are they the nicest apartments in the area' Definately not, but they are convenient, inexpensive, and the other tennants have been great. I do not know that I will re new my lease, because now I can afford to live in one of those nicer apartments in the area, but for the price and the location, this place is perfect for someone that is on a budget.

Well, actually, I did end up renewing my lease, and just so you know, I DO have internet! I have internet, sattelite, and every other ammenity you could think of. Once again, I think that this apartment is just fine for people on a budget and if you want to live somewhere different, go ahead, but dont bash a place that tries to bend over backwards to help people that are in financial difficulty. With the way the economy is today, people are lucky to find an apartment complex willing to help as much as this place does. No where is going to be perfect, but for what you pay here, it is well worth it!
