While the apartments are fairly nice, they are overpriced. Mail boxes are a long way away from most buildings. Most residents feel they are paying for amenities that few residents actually use. Third floor apartments are brutal come time for groceries, etc...
The worst part about Waterford Landing is trying to leave. They try to stick you for you entire bank account. They are not reasonable with loyal residents and show their true colors when you try to move.
You have to give a 60 day notice to move, which is not an industry standard. If you don't give them the full 60 day notice they charge you extra months rent plus $100.00 extra per month. I gave them 32 days notice, and they did this to me, and I have been out of work for nine months. I struggled to pay my rent, was always on time, and really tried to stay there. I fufilled my lease, but they did'nt care. They did'nt want to hear about how hard things had been for me, and stuck me for almost $800.00 of blood money. Thirty day notice is sufficent, and plenty of time to get painters, flooring, and maid service scheduled, especially since they have accounts already established with these contracters. The Staff is horrible, and will not work with, or listen to anyone.
My apartment had signs of forced entry also, as read in other reviews.

I personally think living here is nice. I have a nice home and have nice neighbors. I used to be in the business and it is difficult trying to please everyone everyday of the week. I wish that life were perfect and toilets did not get clogged and our leases never expired. Compared to the surrounding communities most of them have 60 day notice requirements stated in the lease agreement that you sign when you move in. I know that I can easily forget what is in a lease too, because I do not review everyday that I live in the community. Maybe you should have suggested to them to allow a 30 day notice requirement. They unfortunately are bound by rules from their employer. They do their best and have always been friendly. I should know I have lived there for several years. Maybe you caught them on a bad day. Who knows, I wish you well. Not everyone can have the same experience living in an apartment community. I am sure you were very nice to them.

A 60 day notice IS the industry standard. I realize you may not like where the mailboxes are, but the are at the entrance. Get out of your vehicle and check the mailbox. As for the groceries, seriously? You knew what floor the apartment was on when you leased. From your complaints I'm guessing you don't go to the gym either.
