I just read the other review and all apartment communities have lease cancellation fees. I work in property management and Waterford Landing?s lease is one of the easiest. They require a 60 day written notice, 1 month rent, and any concessions that you have recieved. This is standard. The property that I work at which is right down the road requires a 60 day written notice plus 2 months rent, plus all concessions. I do not know of one community that lets you get out of your lease for buying a house and I have been in this business for five years. (I even shop property?s and their management company.) It is a legal contract. When I moved in the leasing agent that went over the paper work with me made this very clear. Believe me this was no suprise to the resident that is upset because he/she signed a legal document that they have to uphold. That just lets me know even more that the people in the office are responsible and not push-overs.



I have lived at Waterford Landing for close to two years now and it has been great!Everyone in the office is organized and friendly.They have never misplaced my rent checks. I have never had to call more than once to request maintenance. Maintenance has ALWAYS taken care of every work order. They have gone above and beyond! On one occassion, that was not an emergency, they came out after hours just to make sure we were happy. Mold can be caused from the resident living in the apartment leaving water on the floor, maybe after taking a shower or something. Mold can be caused by a variety of things. This complex can?t be but about 4 years old. It is kinda hard for me to believe that they had black mold. I am glad that maintenance took care of it for you.(I just think it is funny when someone gets mad that they make sure they say bad things about something that is not fully accurate. If it was really a bad place for he/she to live why didn?t you break your lease for that reason' Why did you move to Waterford Landing anyway' What brought you there and what made you stay there until you bought your home')

I moved here because they had a great special, they are newer and they are the ony place that I have seen that has a 1 bdrm. with 1.5 bathrooms, and a walk in utility room. My apartment has crown molding, ceiling fans, plenty of cabinet space. I really like the fact that my guests can use the 1/2 bathroom and I still have a full bathroom in my bedroom. I have a coat closet and a large walk-in closet in my bedroom.

Also, I have a dog and they are the only place I know of that has no monthly pet rent. Where I work it is $17.00 per month, per pet. NOT AT WATERFORD LANDING. They did not increase my rent at time of renewal, even though the market rate has gone up. My neighbors are great!

Also, I am so close to everything. Waterford Landing has a privacy gate and they installed camera?s for security purposes. Where I work there was at least 8 car break in last week. I am not saying that could not happen here but it would be really hard for someone to get in and out of the property with out getting caught on tape or by someone. There is only one entrance to this property. Well, My rating for this place is the highest on office staff, maintenance, rent, pet friendly, ammenities(unless you like to play tennis, then you might have a problem, no tennis courts!)on all accounts!
