I have lived at Waterford Landing for over two years. I really do not have many complaints, but want everyone considering this complex to make an informed decision. The apartment layout is great- plenty of space & easy to arrange your furniture. The management is polite & a little too much so because they let a lot of problems go- as far as people parking illegally in the handicapped spots, trash in the breezeways & noisy neighbors. I had a horrible neighbor that lived right above me & he sounded like he was moving furniture at all hours of the day & night and usually waited til 2 in the morning before he blasted his music. Many many complaints to the office & many calls to the police dept, resulted in lots of sleepless nights for over 3 months before the guy finally left (of his own merit.)

With all the promotions offered by this complex, a lower class of residents have been attracted & thus the apartments are not as safe as they used to be. I've even had my car broken into & radio stolen.

As far as the mold- there is a pretty large patch of mold coming through the wall of my bedroom & growing behind my bed on the carpet. I just noticed the smell about a month ago & pulled out the bed to see what was growing there. And no, I had not spilled anything there that caused the mold to grow- it came through the wall or or the floor.

There also was a SEVERE investation of millipedes about a year ago, and I still find them crawling around on the rug every now and then- so they are not gone entirely.

I've never had a problem with maintenance (which is great) so never needed to call for maintenance assistance.

And even though I have been there for two years, recently I renewed my lease & was charged the same rate I always had been. I called anonymously asking about rates, and found that the market rate was actually $30 lower than what I was charged to renew.

I just wanted to write a follow up to the last comments so everyone is aware of the truth about Waterford Landing apartments.
