I moved in January 2006 and this place has gone so downhill in just the past 6 months. They used to do a really good job screening candidates, but not anymore. First off, these apartments are terribly built. It's sad that I can tell what my neighbors below me are cooking and when they are watching tv and taking showers...It's also bad that there are 10 adult -------- living in a 2 bedroom, 2 bath apartment in my building. Whenever I go outside to walk my dog, or go to my car, they are always there on the sidewalk, and they actually whistle at you when you walk by and they stare ALL THE TIME.
They recently hired a new manager and got rid of a terrible one, so hopefully my maintenance needs will actually be met when I call down to the office for something. They replace the air filters here every 4-6 months with only 30 day air filters. The carpet is so cheap, mine has bunched up in the middle. If you spill a glass of water on your carpet, it will stain a nasty brown color.
They've had a problem with car break-ins, and even though there is a cop that lives on site, he doesn't actively patrol the grounds. They really need to hire someone to guard the place by setting up a gate with someone inside that records license plate numbers and that sort of thing.
There are sidewalks, but they do not wrap around the complex. They stop and begin randomly throughout the grounds. Lighting is poor in lots of areas, which I guess explains the car break-ins. The pool sucks too. Very small and nothing at all to brag about. Fitness room needs to be updated, the equipment appears to be about 20 years old.
This is the worst apartment complex I have ever lived in and I cannot wait for my lease to be up.
