I have lived in these apartments for going on a year now. While prior owners and office staff (Judy) had their downfalls the new management (Brookside Properties) is EVEN WORSE. They promise you upgrades that never happen and assuredly will increase your rent when your lease is up. They employ unlicensed electricians that do not even speak English and do shoddy work. The lawn maintenance is lousy. My father actually came all summer long last season and kept mine and three of my neighbors grass trimmed and edged because management would not. Dumpsters overflow with garbage which in turn makes its way to the ground and spreads all over the property. You will be allowed only one source of cable access and if you do not choose this company (Charter Cable) you will have to do without and Charter SUCKS. The maintenance guy (Chris) is great but his hands are often tied. They try to cover up problems rather than repair them. All the doorways are rotted at the bottom yet instead of replacing they just come in and paint over making them (look) good from far off. This still does not keep water from entering your apartment. If you want to hear lies and excuses then this is the place for you. If you want a safe and enjoyable experience, GO ELSEWHERE! You can bet that when my lease is up I WILL BE GONE. And none too soon.

This is true about the cable issue, you don't have a choice of choosing what company you want. Management is terrible about fixing things and lie all the time. They expect their rent on time, but don't do their jobs. I have heard them talk about the tenants credit reports,etc. These are things that should be confidential. It is not professional at all here. They put up a good front to get you to move in and then once you have moved in, it's a different story, the real side comes out. There are alot of unhappy tenants here. Something needs to be done with the entire staff, maintenance too.
