Do not waste your money here

Do not waste your time with Cherry Grove apartments. If you live in a pretty apartment but have owners that are trying to take advantage of you, what's the point'

While the apartments may seem ideal, the staff is another story. We had pets in our apartment and in one year's time spent nearly $1,000 in extra pet fees required by Cherry Grove. This made sense to use because we assumed this would cover any minor damages etc. from the pets. Then when we moved out, they charged us $200 for a small spot in the carpet. When we called and asked what our $1,000 went to, they said it didn't cover damages. The extra money you pay to have a pet goes to the extra cleaning required after you move out. Are you trying to tell me that $1,000 worth of CLEANING was required' I think not!

We would never live here again. Ever.

Sounds like the carpet had to be replaced due to pet smells. I'm sure no one wants to move into a smelly apartment. Nothing smells any worse than pet odor. Thankfully, it sounds like you'll not move into an apartment reaking of pet odor!

But the pet deposit covers that. AND they were ripping up the carpet anyways. We got the last aparment with old carpeting that ALREADY had stains and smells. They hadn't pulled up the carpet before we got there, so they don't know that it was us. That carpet was INCREDIBLY old. So no, it doesn't mean you'll move into an apartment that doesn't "reak of pet odor." Ours already did. But with some baking soda and a vacuum we made it liveable. The spot they are charging for is a bald spot in one of the doorways, not a pet stain.

So no, you cannot expect an apartment without pet stains. What you CAN expect is Cherry Grove screwing you out of money.
