My apartment was broken into 3 times in less than three months. Management did nothing and wanted me to pay to get out of my lease. They spend way more money making things look nice on the outside but the truth is these are old aparments with creeking floors that are just not worth the money. I honestly feel taken advantage of. PLease rent somewhere else. it is just way to easy to break in and the managements solution is to give you screws so you can't open you r own window.
