wow where to start... Our experience was HORRIBLE!! Do NOT trust Management!!

It all started last month when i stoped by Blue ridge to check on the status of a 3 Bedroom unit that i had inquired about months ago, and had my name on the waiting list. On this day the Manager Jennifer mentioned to me that there was a few 3 BR units coming available(even seen the unit #'s on her desk) before the end of the month. With excitement i immediately set up an appointment to get the application process started,etc. I was assured that i would be in before the 1st of August. It was a must for our family, as i had already given my notice to my former Landlord, and we was moving from NC. As the manager knew of our circumstances.Our appointment came, and on that day once again we discussed details and was assured that we was going to be moved in by the first of August. I did have to drop back by the following week with BC for my Children, and at that time Jennifer put our name in some "unit book" and said there was a few opening but i had carpet being installed and wouldnt be ready. She informed me that she would check with maintence on that day and call me the following day with the exact date for move in.Once again Assured that a unit would be ready, as i asked quite a bit due to alittle worry with all that is involved with moving. That evening our family began to pack and fill boxes,waiting for the call from Jennifer which never came as promised. I called and left her a message instead, because i had to enroll my kids to start school the following Mon.Not thinking anything of it, i kept on packing(90% by this time).Called Uhaul with a CC# to hold a truck,Pastor announced to all members of our move,called schools,done physicals in TN,gave kids swingset and trampoline away,etc. 2days later Jennifer called and said that she had run into a prob because our family could not rent a two(2) bedroom unit because there was 5 people in the household. Well... duh she KNEW we needed a 3 BR unit, and was trying to make excuses. I told her that we needed a 3 BR and she then went on to say that there is another problem as there wasnt a unit going to be ready in time for us to move,and wouldnt be till around the 15th! I then felt that this point that i was going to throw up,and Jennifer said dont worry that she was a good problem solver blah blah and that she would figure something out and call me back by the end of the day,and promised once again. I mentioned that she had to call me back the same day, and to please let me know something asap! At this point i begin to have huge doubts about hearing from her, and also thought about the reveiws i had read about her in the past. Well, needless to stay, i didnt hold my breath for the phone call that day(which was Tues and we was to be moved in by Sat)The next morning i drove to TN from daylight to dark trying to hunt somewhere else to live. Broken promises to our kids was the WORSE. they was expecting a pool,playgound,etc, and i just couldnt find anything even close! I gave up. Called everyone that i needed to, and hoped that the lardlord would understand that we had nowhere to go!Even tried to face Jennifer face to face, but ofcourse like mentioned by many others, i just found a note on the office door, and her not there. I came to realize that i would make it without Blueridge Apts and did NOT want to be part of someone whom is TOO Personal about herself, unprofessional, and just a plain out liar.
Ohhh and also Monday after we was to be moved, and all the boxes was unpacked her "Assistant"called to inform me that where was a 2 BR unit available for us to rent(which is agaisnt the rules per say) and she would give it to us rent free for a month. Needless to say I DECLINED the offer.Word of wisdom for "management".. KRAMA is a witch.
