Millercrest apartments
These apartments arent the best in the johnson city. Highly over priced for the square-footage. Especially when its only 940sqft, if that. If you're a college student looking for a place to stay this might not be for you. Parties are pretty much a big NO! considering you can usually hear whats on your neighbors TV. You can always hear people walking above you, which is kinda unsettling when you trying to sleep. The apartments are not smoke-free, which means the hallway might smell like smoke. Outside is poorly lit, I've known of one occurance which several cars were broken into in just one night. Expect you're electric bill to be high, they only have single pane windows, which allows heat and air condition to escape. The air units run constantly if you need validation of this. The sliding glass door in the apartments is pretty much a joke. If you're a musician turn back now. People run up and down the stairs. Big Dogs are allowed which sometimes means excessive barking. I really cant think of anything great about this place other than the maintenance staff is great, the grounds are kept clean, and the pool is very nice. It is within 10 miles of everything. This place is at least 25-30 years old so you're going to hear lots of noises from neighbors, dogs, kids and whatever else. I dont really reccommend it unless you can deal with these issues. I would however reccommend it to older people. If you are in college this place is ripping you off and they know it. Trust me they're nicer places in JC if you just look and with less rent. Try to find something with vaulted ceilings. It helps reduce the noise you would hear from upstairs neighbors. Hope this helps
