I really dont know what everyone is complaining about. This is cheap college housing. Every single person that has written on here was probly at the parties they are complaining about, they left the electric on when they left(which is why the went over on their CAPS), and this is the only place they have ever lived outside of their parents house. And they come with washers and dryers, cable, internet. Anywhere else in JC you'd be paying at least 550 a month.
I have lived in better and worse places. But come on, the rent includes all utilities and its like 1300 ft away from campus and there is a bus that comes around and takes people to campus.
The things that could be better are parking and office staff (those 2 old women need a new a job - the young old one is the biggest ----- ever!!)

Yeah campus ridge is great for the first part. Since you haven't been there long, I invite you to leave another review at the end of your lease. I moved out of there in 2007 and I only pay $400 now at my new place. I'd kill myself if I had to live there again. Hope you keep your doors locked when the burgulars break in (usually through the balcony) cause you'll never recover anything, and that's out of an own cops words.

I lived there for 3 years. from 05-08. Even now that I live somewhere else I always lock my doors. Sorry if no one told you that there are criminals everywhere. and no ---- those apartments are not designed for people not in college. No one wants to live with 3 roommates for long. And if you only pay 400 for your new place then I bet that is just rent. Campus Ridge included water, electric, and internet. AND if you can find a cop anywhere in the world that is going to go out and recover your stolen ---- then you should nominate him for an award.

Those apartments may not be designed for people "not in college", but beware, not everyone who lives there attends ETSU. Also, let it be known that other places will at least run background checks before they let you lease. Criminal Ridge, for one, does not! I got stuck with a sketchy french B***H who tried to steal my identity and put me in debt. She also stole my roommates candles. It's also a problem when you tried to move somewhere else. I relocated to Nashville for my career and I had a place turn me down because the lazy college kid they called at Campus Ridge refused to get the manager to reference me. YES, many places require references from former apartments and don't count on Criminal to give those out. I'm not surprised to hear of a weapon assault there. Seeing that it is not a gated community and there's not enough cops at JC to keep things at bay.
