I have been living at Sterling Hills for around 9 months now and have nothing but great things to say. I am a college student splitting rent with two others.

I am baffled at the claims of some of these reviewers. Becky and Rachel (they are the main employees in the leasing office) have went out of their way to handle every issue I have needed. They are great people. If you treat them right...they will treat you right. I see no reason that someone should ever have to go past them for any problems or concerns once moved in.

Apartments themselves are great. Floors creak a little and having one shower in a three bedroom apartment can be a downside, though. But, they are older apartments...what do you expect'

Parking has never been an issue where I am located and we have three vehicles for our one apartment. Have never feared of have the place broken in to. Neighbors around us are all good people. Very quiet.

Can't stress this enough...the layout and grounds are PERFECT. They put a lot of money into the landscaping and it shows. The mountain views from the top apartments don't hurt either.

Maintenance workers are on-time and professional. I broke two of my closet doors moving furniture and they fixed them the next day. Nice guys.

If there is a downside...it's that they are somewhat expensive. $720 a month for a three bedroom isn't that bad to me, though...especially splitting it three ways. But you get what you pay for. The basketball court and pool are top notch...tennis court could use some work.

If you are considering moving to the area for any reason and are looking for an apartment complex...I urge you to check out Sterling Hills. You won't be disappointed. Thanks for your information. I've been to Johnson City about 8 times and hoping to move there eventually. Living in another State it's so difficult to decide what complex would be the best, safe, cleam etc etc so your comments help. Plan on renting before actually buying a home or condo. Thought it would be best to rent apt for awhile and then decide which part of town I want to live in. Thanks again.

I've lived at Sterling for 2 years now in a one-bedroom unit. As far as apts. go, this complex is probably one of the best in JC. The staff has always been helpful when I have had a problem. Some of the traffic coming into the complex from the back exit/entrance is noisy with mufflers but, other then that, no complaints. I AM NOT A STERLING EMPLOYEE WRITING A POSITIVE REVIEW.
