I've lived at Brendon Park for 3 years now, after living in private housing the previous 30 or so years. Yes, I'm an older resident of the complex, but because of not living in apartments for so many years I'm much more apt to complain about things than others I think. I think the maintenance staff when I first moved there was much more professional than the ones are now. Don't get me wrong, the maintenace staff now does an O.K. job, it's just that the others wore uniforms with their names on it & you knew that they were working for the complex. One thing that does bother me is that every year they do raise the rent & they don't seem to give us anything more for that money. Yes, they did put that nice fence around the complex & hopefully it has done what they wanted it to do (not sure though). There was a time that we got monthly newsletters, that dwindled off to every few months now. The problem I have with my apartment is bugs. I've had to call the office several times in the past few months & they say that they'll send their exterminator over but I never know because he doesn't leave anything in the apt. that says he's been there like the maintenance people do.

They did reseal the parking lot, got a new TV for the clubhouse, did a lot of wood replacement and preventative maintenance, put new carpet in the clubhouse downstairs, trees were removed and trimmed, etc. Your rent pays for these things although it might not be that obvious. Do you have any suggestions on what you would like to see at BP?
