I have lived at Brendon Park now for almost a year and I would say that overall it was a good experience. In the entire time of being here I have only seen 2 bugs in my apartment - both of which were when I first moved in. I can't really tell you about noise levels because my complex has been fairly empty for some reason. No one has ever lived above me and the neighbor next door is never home, so needless to say the only time I EVER hear anyone is when someone is in the hallway. My only complaint is regarding maintenance. They will send out notices stating that maintenance will be coming on such and such day, but they never show up on the day stated. Instead they show up a few days later out of the blue. Now if I worked a normal 8-5 job it really wouldn't be a problem, but I stay home and I might be working out in a sports bra/booty shorts or be in the shower with the door open and I don't want maintenance just showing up. That annoys me to no end! Why send out notices at all if you aren't going when stated'!'!'!'!

As the new manager for Brendon Park (I started 11/17/08) I'd like to address this comment. It's the law that residents must receive a 48 hour written or verbal notice that management - for whatever reason - needs to enter an apartment. If for some reason our maintenance staff needs to change the date of their appointment then we will contact the resident and , at the very least, verbally notify them of the change. I can't agree more that no resident should have their right to privacy violated, and the ONLY reason we would ever enter an apartment without notice would be if there is an emergency situation causing immediate danger to residents or the property. I appreciate your comments. It's important to me to hear people's honest opinions of the property. There are some problems I can't fix. I can't change how well the walls were insulated against noise when the buildings were constructed. But there are many problems I can solve if residents choose to work with me and develop a relationship for creating positive change. Thanks again :)
