My opinion of Brendon Park.

I lived in a studio apartment at Brendon Park for two years, so heres my honest assesment. It seems as if several of the positive reviews posted here were actually made by Brendon Park staff. I know for a fact that the "best bang for your buck" review was made by an old assistant manager.
One of the best things I liked about Brendon Park was the landscaping. The grounds are nice, excluding the swimming pool by the office. The buildings are poorly suited for several people living together in close quarters. The walls and ceilings are so thin that you can hear practically everything that goes on in your neighbors' apartments. A couple lived above me and several nights I could distinctly hear what they were doing in bed. Lets put it this way, they weren't cuddling up to a good book. I received noise complaints myself for playing guitar in my living room sometimes. The fact that it was an acoustic guitar with no amplifier really impressed upon me just how poorly insulated the place was.
There are several complexes in adjoining Brendon Park that are much lower-rent. My car was broken into twice while I stayed there. The first time, someone stole the speakers from it. The second time, they just broke my window and rifled through all the stuff inside (after break-in #1, I didn't keep anything of value inside). The staff and security were just about as helpful as the sheriff's department in regard to the matter, they didn't do anything.
Brendon Park does have a pool, which I swam in once. It wasn't that clean. Then I heard that it was a hot spot for homeless people to come bathe in late at night. Needless to say that I didn't go back.
All in all I'd have to say that if I had to do it again, I think I could find a much better place than Brendon Park within that price range. vWhRVi5nYYIuEh4W7K3l

I am sorry that your experience at Brendon Park was not the best. If I could've been here when they built the apartments then I would have suggested some cost effective way to buffer sound. I do not get a lot of noise complaints and am sorry that you had issues with that. I lived in an apartment community and I could hear the people above me. It also might depend on what building you live in. I am so sorry that your car got broken into. My husbands van got broken into while it was parked in our driveway at our house this year so I know how you feel. Car break ins do occur from time to time but not too frequently. There is more of a chance of that happening if there is a high concentration of cars. I am also sorry that you feel that we did not do anything when this happened. We do call police teleserve to come out and patrol the property for a two week period. We have also hired night time security patrols but this doesn't guarantee that something won't happen. After all crime doesn't have an address. We have also sent out letters informing Resident's not to leave valuable items visible in their cars, as you shouldn't do this in any parking lot of course. Previous employees have left positive reviews on here because they were Residents. Not all of the positive comments were from employees. The pool is inspected by the Health Department and it can't be open unless it passes their inspection. We also will close the pool ourselves if the chemicals are not correct. As for the homeless folks, this is the first time I have heard of this. No one has reported this and to my knowledge neither has the night time patrol officers. I do not think that this is true. Once again I am sorry that you did not have a good experience and I do appreciate the information. I wish you would have met with me before you left. Everyone has their own opinions and of course you are entitled to it just as I am. I am not writing this to upset you I just wanted to give you information that you may not have been aware of. Please feel free to contact Brendon Park if you have anything you need to discuss or if you have any suggestions. I wish you the best in your en devours.
