I've lived in Ashton a little over an year. I will be frank. It's not like I've had zero problems. I've had problems such as water leaks (twice), and some minor issues. The main reason I am staying back is: Good management, nice maintenance, cheap, close to west knox, relatively safe (280 units), safe neighbours. I've read some reviews about Ashton spoiling tiffany. Trust me, it's the other way round. Ashton has the swimming pool and tiffany/fox fire residents come here to swim. Also, Ashton does not have a whole lot of -------- and I really feel safe about it.
The new manager Mike is a nice guy and seems to be pretty focussed on trying to solve resident problems. Atleast he's trying to make a honest effort and that means a lot to me as a resident. I don't know how Ashton was few years back, but currently it seems to be a decent place to live.

This was a long time ago. Briarcliff is much different now.
