I've lived here for about 8 months now. I've had a few maintenance problems. One took them 3 months to fix but besides that It's not that bad. The noise level is very loud but what do you expect' It's mostly college/just out of college age. New management just took over and changed the name to Briarcliff at West Hills. I've noticed several things starting to look better around the grounds and I've heard they are re-doing all the balconies(the current ones mostly look like they're going to cave in) and the inside of the rooms as well...guess we'll see.

I am a former employee and know a little more. They are lying. They are only rehabbing 150 units on bottom floor, that's where the black mold is. Ceiling still fall in and they still have the same crappy manager from the last company. He still tells the maint. staff to rig things up. It is very unsafe, between the floods and mold, floors are very weak, and fire alarms are not hooked up or monitored. Yes , I'm sure there is worse out there, but would you pay six or seven hundrend a month for it. Please be carfull, this place is full of empty dreams and residents that get sick, I promise. You can dress up a dead body, but does that make them alive again??? Think about it!!

Hogwash. I challenge you to call the office and ask for a rehab apartment on the third floor. There are still a few available on every floor. The apartments are under new management and the previous manager is no longer there. A simple call will verify that. There were issues in the past, but a quick visit will allow you to see for yourself the community that is thriving. The former employee is just bitter that he didn't meet the standards of the new management. I have enjoyed watching the changes in the property and my neighboors. They have sand volleyball, dog park, lots of lights around the buildings, basketball.
