I just moved to Briarcliff in September. The office staff is really great. When I first moved in I had an issue with bugs (I think the previous tenant had a cat that had fleas), but the staff took care of that problem quickly. There are some issues with the structure of my apartment - in the bathroom the cabinets are kinda crummy on the sides and the doors on the closet in my bedroom sometimes fall off the slider. There is also some pretty hideous wallpaper in the kitchen. I do not live in a renovated apartment, but now wish that I had gotten one (they have new cabinets in the kitchen and bathroom AND new appliances). I also wish that I lived on a higher floor - I can hear the person above me walking ALL the time, but there are no real noise issues other than thin walls. I love that pets are allowed here...and I have clean carpets - a HUGE plus. I wish that there was a little more lighting in the parking lots - but feel better about the recent addition of a resource officer. The cable and phone works great here...the mail carrier is super friendly and the neighbors are pretty nice. I would recommend living here for college students especially. I would recommend the renovated apartments over the older ones, but overall it's been a good experience here so far. I plan on living here until I graduate from college.
