Some good Some bad

I have to say as a community I really liked this place, there were the occasional happenings like the guy who got arrested for something, but I suppose in a large enough community that is bound to happen eventually. Anyway, I will start off with the bad and the end on the positive. First off there is a mold issue, at least in my apartment, although I admittedly did nothing about it, because I didn't want to be hassled with them moving all my stuff to replace the carpets while I was trying to study for school, however, as I have worked with the maintenance crew several times, they have always been prompt and very generous in fixing any problem I had. They were also fairly easy to find as they were usually always around the area. THIS IS A HUGE PLUS IN APARTMENTS TODAY! Anyway, back to the bad, my two of the burners on my stove literraly blew up. I don't know why, but I have an idea that it is very old appliances. I did mention this to the managers and hopefully they will update it before the next people move in, but word to the wise don't move in any apartment here unless all the stove has been replaced. They are renovating many of the places as we speak. I also agree the new property manager was not at all friendly and cared little about the people who paid her salary. The old management was much friendlier. One of the new rules that was inforced that was never told to us when we moved in was that we were not allowed to have a grill on our concrete back porches. FINE, I said, then give us somewhere to store them. OF course my request was utterly ignored. What a -----. Again regarding the parking, there is more than enough parking for the residents and to say it is unfair to let us have guest be able to park near our apartments rather than fighting for 12 spots at the bottom of the hill that are always full is ludicris. Luckily my girlfriend who visited didn't mind to much, but it's just rediculous when all they need to do is open a few more spaces for guests in other areas of the parking lot. That would easily solve the problem. But they would rather make all their residents angry. Well you sure one me over. I agree they should definately fire the property manager. Now to the good part. I really think you get ample space for the price. In addition the property is very close to downtown which makes it very convenient if you go to UT. Also it is surrounded by forrest, which I built some trails while I was there. If you can find them you will really enjoy them. I know several people already that have found these trails and use them frequently to go hiking with their dogs. There's about a 2-3 mile walk if you do every trail. Also there is a hidden hand swing about 30 yards off of one of the trails. Good luck finding it. I hope someone takes care of this trail as I worked hard on it. Overall the people were very nice here, and I really enjoyed the environment. The pool is also a great place to relax in the summer. I don't have much else to say. But despite mold being the worst problems which can be fixed, I really enjoyed living here.
