My wife and I lived Copper Pointe apartments for only 6 months and it was one of the worst experiences of my life. Per practically every other review about these apartments, the staff were rude, inconsiderate and unhelpful once you move in. These apartments are very old and the 'cosmetic' changes the new owners have made should not fool you into thinking you are renting a quality apartment. Although they show you a wonderfully decorated model apartment, the actual apartment you receive is nothing like it. Our air conditioning broke twice, we had horrible ants (they never sprayed even though we complained) the wiring was terrible and required work from an electrician to repair 2 outlets, you hear every sound of your neighbors and they hear you. Worst of all, we don't smoke but our apartment smelled horribly of cigarette smoke all the time from venting from the apartment below! Finally, when we moved out after 6 months (you must give 60 days notice) we still had to pay over $1,050.00 for 1 month's rent in a 2 bedroom apartment because of we went month-to-month for 1 month. That is robbery! Compare the price of every other apartment around this area and you will find a better deal for space and amenities. Parking is a nightmare...we have to park 3 buildings away and walk every single day. I promise if you move in here you will regret it every single day of your lease. Refer to any other apartment rating site if you don't believe us! mgFDbN4-dhkSMZ7zRmVH

I fell in love with the model apartment. So we signed a year lease and when i moved in a week later, my actual apartment was horrible. It has an awful smell, which i'm still trying to get rid of ( I've been here almost a year). It was dirty. Some of my electrical outlets don't work. parking can be a nightmare. My cabinets fall apart. I have spiders galore. And I personally think they hired a child to do these renovations. I haven't really had any problems with management. I think Meriweather just has a strong and intimidating presence, but she been pleasant along with the other staff. I wish I had more to look for an apt., but moving from Louisiana with no place to live, i really needed something fast. There's only so much a person can expect from living in an apartment. Overall its not TOO bad. Just a few annoyances.
