I moved in last year and was completely excited about having my own apartment. I was given a tag to stick on my rear view mirror and was told that guests are supposed to park on the side of the building...GUESS WHAT GUYS...there are no signs for guest parking and if you come home after 5 and I mean if you get there at 5:05pm...you are SOL!!! You have to park at another building, and with your child and groceries, you have to walk ALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL the way home. Then you get the people that live above you...now, they ought to either have a weight limit (and only allow people who way 30lbs to live up there)or get better ceilings. I swear, the first half of my residency, the guy above me loved techno. I would call the "Courtesy Officer" and they never came out. Nope, that's right...NEVER CAME...so when I told Meriwhether about it, she said, they're supposed to come. I finally gave up calling. Then the second part of my residency, I could hear them: use the bathroom and which way they went, chase chicks around up there, and get off. Then the office had told me when I signed my contract that I needed to let them know 60 days in advance whether or not I was going to stay. They said, "but don't worry about it because we will send you a reminder when it's getting close, so you don't forget." Guess what happened....Yep!! You got it, NO F------- REMINDER!!! I went across the way and told my neighbors about it and they said the same thing happened to their friend, them, and a couple other people they knew in the community. So, I went down to talk to the office and explain what happened (it was only 2 days after my 60 days had started)and would you like to know what they told me' They told me that they didn't have access to the mailboxes, so what they have to do is put them on our doors. I have gotten everything else you all have ever put at my door but this time you tell me that it blew away' I'M CALLIN BULL ----!!! thanks Copper Pointe for screwing me out of three days...Ya'll are amazing. If you read this before you sign, please look elsewhere, no matter how good you think they're rent is, it's cheap for a reason...and NO, you don't get what you pay for....you get overcharged!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It is amazing how the only people who write NEGATIVE things on this website are those who want to break the rules and have it their way. I know the resident who wrote this because she just came into my office and was upset when she learned that I would not let her out of her lease because she had taken a new job and wanted to move. She was required to give the proper notice just like everyone else and pay the termination fee, but she wanted me to make an exception. Thankfully, the majority of the residents at Copper Pointe know we are fair and they thank us daily for running an excellent community. But when some people don't get their way, reviews like this show up. If you want to know the truth about CP, please come by and speak to those who choose to live with us. We do not force folks to renew their leases from year to year, but there are many good reasons why we stay full!

Hey Mmontgomery, I thought your name was Maria at one point wasn't it? You stay full because you lie. The only way to really know your "community" is to live there. Go check out the review titled "Best I've Lived In" by, you guessed it Mmontgomery. She is claiming to be a resident! And I know for a fact, she did not live there. Oh yeah, and go and read the comments on a post called "The manager is a liar". Suddenly her username changed and she claims to be "Maria"! Do you want to live in a place where the manager is clearly a, what's the word I'm looking for, liar!!?

If so many people renew - wonder why there are so many moving trucks every weekend moving people out. - I should have listened to everyone who told me that if it sounded to good to be true - it probably is. What a ripoff this place is. Yes, go talk to the staff and they will tell you all the same lies they tell everyone else. Can't wait till my lease is up and I can pack my moving truck too! And just for MMontgomery's information - I haven't broken any rules, and I pay my rent on time.
