The post on 1/8 is a lie. Maintenance staff do not appear like magic when problems are reported unless sparks are flying out of your socket. I was appalled at the recent behavior of the property manager when there was a fire on the premises. She did not arrive until well after the fire was out and when she did there was no concern shown for the residents. She offered neither solutions nor support to them insofar as making sure they had places to stay at the corporates expense, as it should be.

The apartments are not bad and the maintenance staff are accommodating and friendly. The recent landscaping efforts and decorative enhancements are useless when functional additions would better serve the residents. Be prepared to obtain renters insurance upon signing the lease since there also are no firewalls between apartments.

I hope that Brookside Properties reads these because I think they are a little out of touch with the issues here. Merriweather, please do not bother posting a reply as if you were a resident here. It's very noticeable that you're NOT.

The Copper Pointe management has yet to inform residents what they are going to do to prevent future fires from starting in the walls, like the one above reportedly did. Do all units have some wiring defect? Are we sitting on a ticking time-bomb? The management needs to address these concerns to put current residents at ease.
