I had a problem when I moved out with charges. I had a tiny bit of carpet scratched up by my cat near my door. Literally only a few square inches. Instead of re-patching the carpet they charged me for re-carpeting all 1260 square ft. I have contacted local area news stations and consumer reporters to investigate this, but it would help to have others who this has happened to in the past. Let me know if this has happened to you as well.
