I lived there during the change from College PArk to Crossing Place. I found out about the mgt. change while driving back to Knoxville after Christmas break!

No one got a notice of the change and we were granted permission to break our lease if we did not want to move to another apartment without original roommates during removations. However, you still had to pay them $75 charge for your inconvenience AND these notices were put in our mailboxes after the majority of the tenants were out of town for the holidays. That wouldn't have been so bad if we weren't given a deadline of January 15th to get out of our contracts. That left little room to make other living arraingements.

In addition old and new management was terrible and no one could answer questions about the renovations and what it meant for us. Comcast was the main cable provider and many people got screwed with being overcharged for services.

Our air conditioner froze and created a leak in my roommates room by her bed and no one came to look at it for days. When they finally did come they shut the a/c said it was broken and never came back to fix it. Don't even ask about the heat. If you wanted to be warm, stay in the living room. Our toilets and showers were always clogged and no one came by to help out until it was 3 am and out toilet was flooding the entire bathroom.

Insulation was terrible and I hated knowing the sex life of my neighbors!!

I've never been so glad to move out of anywhere in my life!!!
