i thought that it would be great because it was close to campus and they had a bus that ran back and forth. the neighbors upstairs partied 7 days a week to the point where all my pictures fell off my wall. when calling the officer to check it out he takes 1 hr to get there then says lower it please and walks away which does nothing. the staff is incompetent. when i moved in they gave me the wrong key to my room, when i locked the door it wouldn't open with my key (bc it was the wrong one) and so I went to the office to get the correct key and they said that my other roommate who had my key would have to be present.... who knows where she was bc I didn't really know her well yet. instead the staff came to my apt to break into my room by swiping a card through the door which didn't work, so my father had to break into my room through my window which wouldn't lock.... all because they wouldn't give me a copy of MY KEY. then upon move out (which i did in may) they said they were too busy to check my room. 6 month later i get a call from them saying i never returned my key or swipe pass and that i moved out in august and so i had a charge of $125. on top of all that safety has gone downhill. there were several break ins and robberies last year that the complex didn't inform us about. also maintenance does more harm then good. they came to inspect the ac system and ended up closing the opening in the vent in my room, so my room was -10 degrees for over a week until they could come back out to fix there mistake. lastly for over a month i didn't have internet connection and the company they told us to contact didn't know what was going on. it took over a month for the 1 tech guy to get to my room. he said it was because there were so many apt's that were having the same problem.
lastly the bus service.... worked well most the year until the end. i was going to go to campus during exam time and there were several times where the bus just didnt show up. I almost missed 2 exams due to this.
