My wife and I moved in here on July 2nd. We had seen the reviews before we moved in, and we searched all of Knoxville, looking at tons of places. We came back to Forest Ridge a week after we almost signed a lease. We moved in, and we have loved it ever since. I do not remember what everyone is writing, and I don't have time to go through all of them. Yet, I can say that we have not heard our neighbors. The townhouse (bi-level) setup helps with that. It is true that you can hear through the interior walls, but it has not been a big problem for us. It doesn't seem that bad. The apartments are really, really nice. Yet, make sure that you pay a little extra to be in Phase 2 or Phase 3 development, which were built in the mid-2000s, I believe, not Phase 1, which were built in the early '90s. The office staff have all been very good and nice to us. It helps that we pay our rent and pay it on time. Furthermore, the amenities are the best we found anywhere, except for the other Bell properties. We feel very safe, and the people here seem to be pretty much working professionals and families. In our section, it is very quite. We could say a lot, but we love it overall. Please consider that SOME of the negative reviews on here are obviously coming from disgruntled former tenants with a bone to pick. I do not know their reasons, and they may have very legitimate greivances, some of them. Yet, the obvious lies are not justified even if they feel they were mistreated in some way. We were skeptical of many of the claims before we moved in, and we have confirmed many of them false by our experience thus far.

Well... I have posted a negative review and i can assure you I have no reason to lie about how the staff treated me during my one year lease and after. I paid my rent on time every month and my roommates and i never caused a disturbance whatsoever. I'm glad to hear they are treating you better. Perhaps they are biased against young professionals who make more money than they do, I don't know....I do know how I was treated and am being treated. They are completely unprofessional with me to this very day. But then again, it is a cheap complex to begin with.
