I've seen several reviews and have mixed feelings. I've lived at Fox Lake for several years and have enjoyed it thoroughly compared to other apartments that I've lived in. Yes, the parking was getting "tight", but the office management took care of that by going to parking permits, which has made a world of difference!!!
And, yes they did have a rent increase not too long ago, but in the 7 years that I've lived here, I've had my rent increased "maybe" 4 times at most, versus every 6 months to a year in previous places that I've lived. The staff is very friendly and have always helped me anytime I have an issue/workorder. The maintenance guys are great. The take care of things quick, and it's always been the same 3 guys in the 7 years that I've lived here. One of the maint. guys ALWAYS greets you with a smile!!! The other two are friendly too. I would recommend Fox Lake to anyone!!! Especially when it comes to the staff, location and safety concerns.
