Fox lake is a very nice apartment complex to live in. The key here is that it is an apartment complex, so there are going to be minor issues (like those mentioned in previous posts). There is only so much the leasing managers, etc... can do about typical neighbor problems (garbage being left out, noise, cigarette butts, etc...). The apartment complex is in a nice neighborhood with easy access to a lot of things. There is a nature trail that is nice to walk around. Two pools so you can choose which one you want to take a dip in. There is a nice playground for kids. There is ample parking for residents and guests. The apartments are nice and roomy. The layout of the apartments are great. The rooms are big for it being an apartment. The only problems we had when we lived at Fox Lake was 2 noisy neighbors (which we had the managers contacted or we contacted ourselves) and a problem with people not cleaning up their dog poop (which it sounds like the managers have taken care of--to the extent that they can--by adding dog areas and doggie poop bags).

???minor issues (like those mentioned in previous posts)??? -Having a real job and not getting any sleep before work is NOT a minor issue. Calling the courtesy officer and the real cops over 10 times is not a minor issue. Making several complaints to management at Fox Lake over the phone and in person and not having anything done about it is not a minor issue. ???There is only so much the leasing managers, etc... can do about typical neighbor problems (garbage being left out, noise, cigarette butts, etc...).??? -What!? You???re telling me that the managers can???t to ANYTHING about this? In the lease is says that you will be fined for leaving your trash out. My neighbors have never been fined or even warned (as far as I know) about leaving the trash out or leaving beer cans, bottle tops, cigs. Etc. In the bushes and grass outside their apt. They should also evict someone for getting too many complaints about them. The neighbors that I???m dealing with have had MANY complaints about them. Since my last post, I???ve called the courtesy officer 2 more times and the real police once more. This just gets rediculous (especially since I don???t call the cops every time this happens). If I called the cops every night I???m woken up by them there would be more than the ~13 times I???ve complained. It would be more like 40 . My wife has also seen the database where they keep the complaint logs on the different apartments and almost every complaint we???ve made and almost every time we???ve called security is logged in there as well as the times that our other neighbor has complained them. They also have logged when we???ve called the real police. In addition, they had written that the people weren???t even allowed at the pool anymore since they decided to get drunk at the pool with glass beer bottles and throw them at each other???s feet leaving glass shards everywhere. Come on now. Most of your post sounds like a cookie-cutter post that a manager would make.
