The staff (Sherri, Regina) smile to your face, say they will take care of something and it never happens. I change my own air filter because in three months they've never changed it (it's a One Month filter). I've been complaining about issues with my AC since I arrived. Even some of the maintenance people admit that Fox Lake waits until things break rather than perform regular maintenance. Get everything in writing, work orders, rent receipts, everything (and read them for accuracy). Otherwise they will smile to your face, shrug their shoulders and say it never happened. Evidentally rules are only for people that follow them. Parking is so atrocious people either have to park in the grass or five buildings away if they arrive later than 8 at night. There is supposed to be a different building per dog size but that isn't enforced. The entrance is a hazard because the bushes are overgrown and you could drive into oncomming traffic. The apartment itself has mediocre water pressure, and I swear my upstairs neighbors are practicing tumbling exercises judging from the banging I hear, but I'm hard of hearing so it's bearable. Here's the truth, "If nothing goes wrong with your apartment and you find a parking spot, everything is great and you'll never complain, but if something does go wrong, good luck."
