Although Heritage Lake has some nice floor plans they are FAR from being a $800.00 plus per month property. I lived at heritage lake for two years. During that time I saw the maintenance staff change three or four times. The manager does not care who lives there or where she puts people. I lived with a 1-2 year old above me for about 1.5 years and it constantly sounded like the ceiling was going to collapse. She should have put them on the first floor, but again once you live there and they get you money they do not care about you. Last summer they brought in some security company to stay for the summr. The company had about 30 employees staying there for the summer. You couldn't even go to the pool without hearing a bunch of drunks yelling and cursing.
Obviously the people that wrote the last reviews(unless it was the manager Staci trying to make the place sound good) did not live at the end of Grove Lake way. Parking at my unit was horrible. I only had one vehicle while I lived there and still had problems finding a spot to park. People park in the handicap spot on a regular basis. At one point the manager did as well.
Seeing trash piled up outside the dumpster is a very common occurance. I'm surprised they do not have a rat problem(or do they).
I complained several times about the windows leaking in my bedrroms. Once they sent out maintenace with some caulk, but it did no good. It was common to see BLACK MOLD on my window seal. When I mentioned it , I was told to just clean it with bleach. No testing was done what so ever to determine if the mold was hazardous to ones health or not. The real problem is the fact that they do not clean out the gutters of the unit, every single unit gutters overflows when it rains. The water does not drain where it was designed to and is slowly destroying the building.
Another common occurance is the problem with the entry gate. It has been broke about 10 times within the past two years.
Until this property invests in itself, retains a good maintenance staff, HIRES A NEW MANAGER and lowers the rent it would benefit you to find a residence elsewhere.
