It was truly terrifying living there! Neighbors were drug users, homeless people lived in the garbage dumpster next to the building and parties took place behind the apartment every night of the week. Stragglers from the parties would come vomit on the side of the apartment at all hours of the night. I saw the police at the apartments at least twice a week. Neighbors were very loud and the management did nothing about it. SINGLE FEMALES STAY AWAY!! The neighborhood had more reported rapes than anywhere else in Knoxville with several being residents at Highland Terrace. Oh, and the mailboxes are left open so that anyone can access your mail. You take your life in your own hands if you chose to live there!

Single female? I'm a single female. My mailbox is never left open. You're supposed to have a key for it. I've had one party near my apartment thus far and it didn't keep me away. I've not seen MANY homeless people, and they certainly haven't bothered me. What do you expect? You live in The Fort. Homeless people abound.

I leave my aluminum cans in bags out for the bums. They make great recyclers.
