I lived in Kingston square for 2 years from 2005 to 2007. The apartment was spacious...but that was about the only good quality.
Things you should know about Kingston Square:
1. The majority of the units have moderate to severe problems with ceiling leaks...some units and an entire building in uninhabitable due to this problem. Some units have ceilings that have caved in due to where Management hired a cheap company to tar the flat roofs and they tared over the drainage system.

2. Problems with roaches. Our apartment had a SEVERE roach problem. There were nests of litterally hundreds of roaches above the kitchen cabinets and around the floorboards. They were crawling all over our apartment.

3. There were drug dealers that lived in the complex. Police were constantly in the complex. There were WAY too many people per unit living upstairs from us and they could be heard all hours of the night. Complaining to the office did not help.

4. The grounds were not well kept. The pool was closed half the summer for maintenence issues. The washers/dryers always took your money and you were not reimbursed.

5. The complex was featured on local news at the beginning of 2007 due to the fact that the fire marshall condemned one building and threatened to condemn the entire complex unless they made over $100,000 in repairs. Some of the problems included unsafe balconies, faulty electrical wiring, and severe water damage.

It appears little or no progress is being made to repair this place. It is in a great location, but it is on the verge of being shut down because it is unfit for human habitation.

DO NOT BE FOOLED...this place is a slum.
