I am writing to give people another opinion of Londontown. I completely DISAGREE with most of the recommendations so far!! I moved into my 1 bedroom in May 2005 and I'm still living there (May 2007). I LOVE my apartment. My neighbors are wonderful and the staff in the office has ALWAYS made me feel welcome. They knew my name from the beginning so I feel very comfortable in this community.

As for my apartment, it is in GREAT shape considering how old they are. My carpet was brand new when I moved in, along with new tile floors in the bathroom and kitchen. They really do attempt to update the apartments to keep them as nice as possible. I have had a few maintenance issues since moving in but nothing out of the ordinary for an apartment rental. I call the office with a request and the staff is usually working on my problem the next day. My biggest problem so far was that my AC wouldn't stay cold after a few days and they ended up replacing the whole unit. They do what they need to do and don't skip out of the repairs to save any expenses.

The grounds and landscaping is kept up better than any other apartment complex I have lived in!

As for other reviews, there is construction going on but really...can you blame the apartment complex for building new apartments'! Let's be reasonable. I lived there during the worst time when the construction began and I would have dust on my porch and furniture but it's nothing you can't live through. Again, the staff is always incredibly helpful and I feel like I take that complaint personally. I don't see them but once every few weeks but they do their best in making every resident happy.

I could keep going on but bottom line is that I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS COMMUNITY TO ANYONE. I have already had 3 friends move in to different parts of the complex (3 different apartments) and each of them really enjoy their places. Just take a look for yourself. Drive around and stop into the office...your first impression of the staff will really show you how NICE Londontown really is.
