I have lived at the Villas for just a few months but am planning on breaking my lease and moving out. These apartments look extremely nice on a walk-through with new appliances, nicely painted walls and trim, and seemingly a good amount of space. They are pricey, but I figured it would be justified. I couldn't have been more wrong! After just a week it became clear that this was not an apartment that could be like a home: the walls are extremely thin and apparently hollow, the layout maximizes contact with your neighbors, the ducts for heating are made in such a way that you have your unit constantly running just to keep it 66 degrees, there are all sorts of added KUB fees that doubled my power bill, the construction was shoddy (big gaps in the floorboards, one of which led to an ant infestation) and the neighbors aren't what you'd hope. The number one reason I am moving out is because of rowdy neighbors that the management have no interest in trying to control. If you'd like to feel like you live in the Fort area, then perhaps you'd like it! If you're looking for a place to go to after a long day at work or school to relax and unwind, go elsewhere and spend your money wisely.
