While I lived in Meadowood the staff were very nice, I lived there when the fire broke out as well and it was scary to think that your apartment could catch on fire like that. However the biggest thing that scared me was one night I witnessed someone steal a car right in front of my building I called the police and the guy was caught and arrested. Him and his girlfriend had broken into their apartment that they had just been kicked out of. It was scary however, if you get to know your neighbors you learn to watch out for each other. Even though it was a crazy time to live there I was very impressed with Meadowood Apartments.
