From what I've read, this place worried me at first. For that reason, I've checked alot of places in Knoxville. I've found that I really like Plantation Manor. I've lived here for about 2 years, and it has improved very much. When my lease was up, I had no doubt where I wanted to be... so I stayed.

I believe that they had changed management right before I moved here in Aug.'07. I guess that's the reason it's in alot better shape than before. The current staff is very nice and proffesional. I had some issues early on when I moved in or transferred apartments, but they were very quick to address any concerns that I had. I don't really understand alot of the poop complaints that people have made on here, because I've never really noticed it.

If you live under someone, you're gonna here them walking around and such. You're gonna deal with that where ever you live. I haven't noticed very many parties either. I've seen some get-togethers, but that isn't a crime or anything. Parking at the front of the complex does suck, because the parking lot in that area has to used by 3 buildings instead of 2. But that's just the front... like 10% of the whole place.

I have lived in some real crappy places... like Country Club Apts. Country Club was by far the worst place ever. I feel bad for anyone who lives there. But I really like Plantation Manor. It's a good community with good people. It doesn't hurt that you're 5 minutes away from everything too.

I guess living in a sh*thole like Country Club Apts makes you appreciate Plantation Manor that much more.

I recommend it to everyone.
