Do NOT live at Steeplechase

Perhaps rivaled only by the greatest rip off in Knoxville (Sterling Heights), Steeplechase is a dump in a castle costume.
The giant arched street entry makes it look like a lot of money was put into this place. But apparently their budget ran out after the entry ways and the retarded duck pond (with suicidal ducks that take 10 minutes to cross the road).
For a while, the management actually turned the water off once a week for a whole morning. Imagine waking up to go to work or school and there is no water. So basically all that day I had to use somebody else's shower/bathroom/kitchen that lived off the property. Makes you wonder why you are paying rent for that day, doesn't it!
I have closets and drawers that literally don't shut because they were made so cheaply and the pieces do not fit together.
The laundry room is closed at 10pm, even though it is not located by anybody's apartment. This is very inconvienent if you work all day or go to school late and can only do laundry at night.
The townhouses have terrible circulation, I live on the 2nd floor of one of the townhouses and its always about 20 degrees hotter upstairs and the AC vents are not designed to cool the upstairs, so you face having $150 bills and freezing out your roommates downstairs in order to tolerate the summer months.
Don't waste your money. There are plenty of places for a lot cheaper that are WAY nicer than this dump. Plus, no suicidal ducks.
