water problems and parking difficulties

Years at this apartment: 2002 - 2004
I lived there for two years and it was so so. I frequently had to search hard for a parking space, sometimes pretty far away from my building. My roof had a leak in the bedroom; people got on the roof three times to fix it but no fix lasted for long.
I lived in a "good building", that is, my neighbors were adults and were quiet and civilized most of the time.
I enjoyed the fireplace and the design of the intereior is well thought out. had excellent natural lighting due to several tall windows, however, it could heat up like a green house in the summer and get pretty chilly in the winter, (single pane windows).Water pipes made out of plastic made knocking sounds often and mine broke and flooded the guy living below, ( this type of thing happens often in these apartments I am told). As a result , maintenance had to come and saw part of my wall out in order to fix it.
I will say that maintnenace guys handled things well, also, the management were pretty nice to deal with when I lived there.
My rent went up and I do believe these places are a little over priced.
I would probably not return to Steeplechase because of the tight parking and the water problems.
