Loved my time here!

I lived at Steeplechase for almost 2 years and loved it. The floorplan was slightly different than any other I had seen and made it feel more like a "home" rather than just a box to rent. The light that comes in through the many windows in the den is also wonderful. I lived on the second floor, so I did not have any noise problems with people above me (hope I was too loud for my downstairs neighbors!). The one complaint I had was the noise of the apt to the "back" of me (bedroom wall borders another apt). I complained several times, but to no avail. The grounds are very pretty and full of trees- very well maintained. Maintenance always responded quickly to any request I had and was always very kind to me. The office staff changed from when I first moved in- the "new" staff seemed rather ditzy, but always pleasant. I felt safe living here by myself. The inside of the apt was very clean when I moved in (new carpet and refrigerator) and I was not charged any extra cleaning fee when I moved out. I will say that since I have moved out, it appears that their marketing has been trying to reach a different crowd. All ads now feature happy, smiley, frat-like college students and limited photos of the actual apts. So I am guessing that they are trying to reach out to more undergrads...just a guess.
