I lived at Steeplechase for 3 years. The apartment I was in was nothing but bad news. The management put new linoleum down over old before I moved in, and that started rolling up on itself in about a month. The carpet on the steps had been shorted, and I could see through to the dirt foundation. There was mold growing behind my headboard in the bedroom. Maintenance just spray-painted over that. The worst thing, though, were the mushrooms that began growing in my closet. Yep, MUSHROOMS. I wouldn't recommend these apartments to anyone. The health department and the CDC could have a field day there.
