I honestly don't know where to begin, but I'll start off w/ this...my husband and I have lived in a 3 bdrm townhouse for 2 1/2 years. During our first few months, we received anonymous, hand-written letters mailed to our mailbox from someone who obviously had nothing better to do than WATCH us while we walked our 2 dogs. They noted the clothes we were wearing, where all we walked our dogs, and how many times we had let our dogs urinate near the "their" sidewalk! This person threatened several times to turn us in for owning a larger-sized dog. I hated feeling like our every move was being watched! It was very creepy! Now, to the problems w/ the actual apartment...from the day we moved in(and STILL) our garbage disposal has never worked, oven thermostat is broken, there is no closet door in one of the downstairs bedrooms, visible mold in a closet. In our first year here, we had a MAJOR water leak in a downstairs bedroom coming from the ceiling in the closet(the SAME closet that has NEVER had a door). The leak started around 10pm, we had to immediately start moving everything out of the room b/c the majority of the carpet was soaked, walls were visibly soaked along the bottom(throughout the room), AND water was pooling up in the ceiling and about to cause a collapse! We called for help, and it took the guy 3 hours to get here! By that time, the water damage had made it's way into our living room...the carpet, along the walls, ALL wet!! When the guy DID get ehre, he said he couldn't do anything until the morning! In the meantine, our apartment was flooding yet no one ever offered to move us OR pay for a hotel room until things were fixed! We had to stay w/ friends for 2 days, pay for our 2 dogs to be boarded at the vet for 3 days, were finally notified that the problem was "fixed" just to come home to huge fans set up throughout our apartment! In the end, we had THREE rooms w/ soaked carpets and water damage, and all they did was set up FANS to DRY the carpet(MOLD and MILDEW...HELLO''!!)!! They left a huge HOLE in the ceiling downstairs(still there), busted pieces of sheetrock all over the place, and get this...the one strip of carpet they did happen to remove was from the closet, and they actually set it on the sidewalk right outside our door so that it could DRY!!!! They were actually going to put it back in the closet!! No one ever came back to get the large piece of carpet either, so we left it there for about 6 months just to piss them off. When it turned green from being rained on so much, we finally threw it away ourselves. So, ever since this, our apartment has dingy, stinky, stained carpets, stained walls, a hole in the ceiling, and a very musty, mildewy smell. I hate this place SO MUCH that I have to list all the other things wrong with it...bathroom sink is cracked and water actually POURS out of it if it is filled up to a certain level, our themostat is broken(called about that at 11pm in the middle of July, and the guy said he couldn't do anything about it unless the temp OUTSIDE was over 80 degress), backdoor door knob falls off all the time, flooring in the bathroom is rolling up and I'm sure there is mold up under it due to all the water leaks, upstairs toilet never stops running, ants are terrible in the Spring, rent is completely ridiculous($965 a month), both pools were closed MANY times last summer due to maintenance, tennis court has never had a net AND people let their dogs crap on it,the lack of sand and a net for the sand volleyball court made it unavailable until August last year, when it rains our sidewalks are completely flooded with water AND MUD 2 inches thick, parking is ridiculous(even though we only have ONE car AND the apartments on both sides of us are vacant, we still rarely find a spot on our side b/c the butts in the 1 and 2 bedroom units have all their friends park on OUR side), our walls are chipping off in huge chunks, glass light fixture on back patio came within inches of falling on my head(it shattered everywhere b/c they hadn't screwed it in properly). Oh, I could go on and on(obviously lol), but I won't. We are still living here, but it is only due to a job-related reason of my husband's company. Life is full of sacrifices, and living in THIS hell hole is one of the biggest I've ever had to make! Every month, it makes me sick to my stomach to give these people a DIME of our income! For $1000 a month, the place should be top-notch, but it is nothing more than a majorly out-dated dump!!!! Do NOT rent here!!! They'll show you a very nice 2 bedroom unit furnished w/ cute comtemporary pieces which they use as their model...don't let this fool you!

My girlfriend had looked at renting one of their special two bedroom apartments. It seemed like a steal at $599. I did not like how they would not give her the apartment number until after she had paid her deposit, but it was not a mistake on their part. The apartment was on the back side of one of the buildings. There was no direct way to get to the apartment. The sidewalks were covered in mud. There was no security lighting on the side of the back of the apartment. It was a terrible environment. The staff was not helpful at all. The reason their apartments are on sale is because no one wants to live there anymore. She is going to give up her deposit and just spend more money on a better complex.
