I have lived here for almost a year... counting the days down until the day I can vacate (because you can not do it early without paying over 2000 dollars), not sure where to even begin.
The move in special was awesome, and the location is great... thats all the positive input that I have about the Willows.
I will start with the rest of my experience. You pay a lot to live here compared to other same/better apartments in the area, but at move in, it is the amenities that you are paying extra for, or so management says. Well they lied. The gate... is a joke, it NEVER works.
The pool is surrounded with so many trees and foliage that one can not even imagine getting any sun, much less the pool warming up no matter what time of summer it may be.
The gym facilities and bathroom beside of it, are disgusting, literally crap behind the door... literally.
PARKING, if you enjoy parking four buildings away, then the Willows is the place for you. Parking downtown on game day is easier than finding parking at the Willows between 5:30pm-7:00am
The maintenance staff is very quick, however they only fix the issue rather than the problem. The ultimately have to return multiple times to fix something that could have been fixed one time, if they would invest money in repairs it would not be a issue, because I know what I pay them every month, multiply that by all the units in the complex, simple math would show that they could certainly afford to fix things, it just a constant display of the lack of direction this complex has.
They love to make new rules and send memos out reiterating old rules, but never do they enforce them.
The 'Car Wash' is actually the storage unit for the maintenance staff.
Needless to say, the day that I put my notice to vacate could not come soon enough.
Advice: Shop around, do not let the move in special sway you immediately. vWhRVi5nYYIuEh4W7K3l
