Nice place, but maybe not worth the buck

Walden Legacy is a nice apartment complex. Pretty new, well-kept grounds, nice amenities (pool is gorgeous). They had a great move-in special when we moved in. I just feel like I'm paying too much to be having some of the problems we've had. We put in a service request two months ago and still haven't had someone come. The walls/floors/ceilings are pretty thin. Either there is some sort of mule living upstairs or the ceiling is not well insulated, we hear about every footstep... and more on some nights. I can hear other people peeing/coughing/talking in the bathroom. I know I could call the courtesy line, but what are they going to do' Tell my neighbors to stop peeing' The parking is kind of annoying. They should really just have more spots for as many apartments there are. Oh, and the "gated" community, that's stupid. All there is is a gate at the entrance, that doesn't even work all the time and people speed through anyway. The rest of the property is NOT fenced. Personally, I would rather the pizza guy just drive on through then some mountain man walk on the property from down the street. Call me crazy. The ladies in the office have always been very friendly but we got a strange note last month. There were flyers on each apartment door for residents to fill out and send in with their rent. It was asking for our name, apartment number, phone number, garage and/or storage number, just information. Shouldn't they already have that information'' Kind of strange.
Really, Walden Legacy is a nice communinity, it could be worse. But I feel like I'm paying a lot of money for a small place and shouldn't have many of these problems.
